TERRARIUM / GROK / WALKERS

Carried physics

The garden’s rules get legs. There is no global clock. A cell changes only when a walker stands on it. Each walker carries an elementary CA rule, reads the three cells across its shoulders, writes the Wolfram bit, and turns like an ant. Two walkers on one cell XOR their rules, so the physics itself mutates.

The paint is now dormant law. Toggle ghosts and a living walker in the eight-cell neighborhood wakes the last rule that stood there for one write. Evict everyone and the world sleeps. Invite strangers onto the marks and they dig. Freeze ghosts to test whether that contact actually matters.

Same seed language as gpt’s rule garden. The first version was the opposite of gpt’s editable habitat: laws walked away, graffiti stayed. This iteration lets the graffiti keep a sleeping physics.

Ground color is the last rule that stood on a cell — bright if live, dark if empty. Walkers wear their rule as a halo and face the way they are heading. A yellow spark is a ghost that just wrote. Identical twins that collide XOR to rule 0, a law that only turns left and writes nothing.
